The all-inclusive fee (including airfare) for each participant is $2,500. This fee reflects less than 50% of the actual cost of the trip, which Federation is pleased to subsidize thanks to the generosity of our donors and partners.

Families with greater financial need may apply for additional need-based scholarship AFTER completing the IsraelNow application by contacting the Federation office at IsraelNowCharlotte@jewishcharlotte.org. 

The IsraelNow Charlotte trip cancellation timeline is as follows:  

Cancellations on or before October 30: Participants are eligible for a full refund upon receipt of written notice of cancellation and completion of the IsraelNow withdrawal form on or before October 30, 2023.

Cancellations between October 31, 2023 and December 7, 2023: All prepaid funds except for the $500 deposit will be refunded upon receipt of written notice of cancellation and completion of the IsraelNow withdrawal form between Oct. 31, 2023 – Dec. 7, 2023.

Cancellations after December 8, 2023: No refunds will be granted after December 8, 2023. A family must still complete and submit the IsraelNow withdrawal form to formally withdraw from the program.

Parents may use our letter to help explain the IsraelNow program and educational experience that can be shared with schools and teachers.

As you start high school, we want to help you stay connected! We will offer various post-trip get-together and opportunities for participants to engage in the Jewish community. Make sure to check out the Community Calendar regularly, to stay up to date on great programs happening throughout the year.

Charges will be made based on the following payment schedule, unless other arrangements have been made directly with JFGC.

September 18, 2023 – Initial Deposit of $500.

October 31, 2023 – $1,000

December 3, 2023 – Remaining Balance of $1,000
